I had the pleasure of smoking my first Cohiba Robusto last night . I have to say that i enjoyed it very much .I'm not much on recognizing the different taste , but I could tell there were some different things going on . A couple times , a caught myself saying " hey , that's a very nice but different taste !"

All in all , I was very pleased . I plan to make my first order next week . For sure the Cohiba Robusto will be on my list along with the Siglo l and ll , the Monte #4 and the Por Larranaga Petit Coronas.

I've tried them all except for the PLPC . I tend to lean towards the mild to medium side of things .

Any helpful advise for a newbie ??

Hey there,

I am also new here, so the advice I have is to get as much singles before getting boxes and try out different brands of Cigar.

Some of the members here recommended these:

HOYO DE MONTERREY ÉPICURE NO.2

Partagas Series D #4

Montecristo No 2

ROMEO Y JULIETA CHURCHILLS

Enjoy

Purchased a Robusto sampler from Czar sometime ago, and must say the stand out for me was the Bolivar Royal Corona - not as strong as your typical Boli, but the flavour profile suited me just fine. Have always enjoyed the PLPC, and the Monte 4 are be back to their former glory. Enjoy your journey in the world of cigars.

I LOVE the Cohiba Robusto!!!! It is the reason I love the C.C.'s so much. I try to keep them on hand at all time....good luck to you in the future!

Had a Siglo ll tonight . Didn't enjoy it near as much as the Robusto .
