Elie (Maalouly) brought me back a bottle of "Old Monk" Run from India (Yes...an Indian Rum).

He swears by it.

I have a R&J Cazadores b my side and have poured my first glass.

Very dark

Aroma: All vanilla. Glorious!

I must say this is proving positive!

Nice viscosity on the glass.

First sip

Not what I expected.

Sweet. Shallow. Vanilla. Short.

Seriously...what I would pour for a chick who drinks Southern Comfort Bourbon!

Second sip...all pretence of class disappears.

Classic leg opener rum. My God Elie!

Ken...For F sake lets get him on to the good stuff!!!!!

Cheers Elie!

Love you bro

I tried some this afternoon and now I know how the internal combustion engine feels.

I think I burned out a valve.

Liked the aroma though

Rob and Elie, now if you guys think that "old Monk Rum" is bad,

look again, here is a real kick ass Rum from Nepal, real candy :D

It's got a very sweet taste of herbs and honey mixed with a bit of rum taste :lol3:

Well, It's really special B) I won't go into the story of how I got this but it's a long CLIMBING story from Nepal. LOL

Elie, you should try to get a few cases for Ken & Rob.
