anacostiakat Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Fantastic show! Caught the second episode last night. Man are the sets and costumes period pieces right out of 1920 Atlantic City. Buscemi is great in this role. Here is a link to the real Enoch Johnson. Here is a link to the HBO series.
SmokinLightning Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I've enjoyed the first two episodes.... They didnt take long to get the action rolling for sure! I agree, the set/costume designers need some awards for this one.
hddeucebrad01 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Agree, great series and hope it lasts! Was and still am big fan of Sopranos. I watch it over and over...
JasonInChiTown Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Agreed, it's a great show. HBO is the only channel that I can tolerate. Sports, News, HBO and Mad Men. Sunday TV is the best

Sunday TV is the best I am also hooked on Sons of Anarchy (FX) and Rubicon (forget channel). Dexter should be coming back to Showtime soon as well.
jimjim Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Just watched the first 2 episodes. Not bad.
Cubanface Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I've been watching every Sunday and it looks to be the start of a classic show. Steve Buscemi didn't seem to much like a gangster when I thought about him taking the role but I agree he's doing a fabulous job. The whole show is really well done too. I wish we had the balls they had in the 20's to stand up for ourselves like they did.
cigcars Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 *I like Steve Buscemi much. But I don't feel like having to endure the usual mandatory scenes of some cheap floosy always stuck to somebody's mouth. Gets on my nerves.
