This is a couple of thousand cigars which have been developed in public on the forum, reviewed by a panel and widely discussed! If you can draw any comparison/conclusions then you are a better man than me Gunga Din
joeypots Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 It sounds good. I'm thinking a fiver of each will get me a good sense of the two cigars. What do we do, email Lisa? Joe

If you can draw any comparison/conclusions then you are a better man than me Gunga Din You are a Cuban cigar vendor and these are Cuban cigars for sale. They are specialty cigars, limited production, discussed in advance on this board, like they all are... Will they be different... well.... I certainly hope so? I would expect nothing less than an excellent cigar from you my friend. As a matter of fact I would like to be on the list to get a couple in spite of the fact that the efforts went into the selection of quality components and taste and not into boxing!!! Now wait a minute... that is what I have been preaching all along! How could I not want to support the very premiss of what I believe a limited production Habanos to be? Of course it is arguable that these can be called Habanos, not that I care, and that is perhaps your whole point. ****, come to think of it... I just wanted to take a marketing swipe at your Aussie arse for making nasty comments on my Horsey thread!!! Now about being kicked in the head... yeah, a couple of times! -LOL As far a marketing and boxing is concerned I have developed The Traditionalist Cigar Marketing Salute just for the shiny box crowd!!! All in fun of course!!! Here goes! D r u m R o l l P l e a s e !

But, your post/picture make me gasp for a minute - I'm waiting for the release of the Trinidad Robusto T's in the newer tubos packaging. So, that picture made me check for a quick second when I saw the gold!
El Presidente Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Piggy, I am just thrilled that you have Trinidad as well as Limited Editions in your humidor Viva the Proletariat!

bassman Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I've asked before but don't this I got an answer. Will the two sizes have the same blend or be different?
Colt45 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I've asked before but don't this I got an answer. Will the two sizes have the same blend or be different? Bassman, here's a quote from Rob from a previous thread (I don't know if it holds true for the final products) : The blend process was pretty simple. Describe what I wanted and sat down to try 4-5 cigars rolled to those instructions. feedback...a few more cigars...feedback....and that is where we are. The tyranny of distance precludes me from siting down with leaf a roller, bottle of santiago and playing with tobacco for a few days. Ahhhhh to dream! The blend between the two is obviously different although we have tried to get them both to the same profile. Just needed to use differing manner to do so (due obviously to the gauge). Roller will never be disclosed. Ever. Pricing we will determine in Sept. Plenty can happen re exchange rates between now and then. They will not be cheap, they will not be Behike. More along the lines of a very good Regional Release. They are not mass produced and do not have the production cost benefits of mass production. Not sure about the packaging. I like bundles. Simple ribbon if that. More than happy to do 6 pack singles (your mix) when the time comes. You guys will determine where to go with these. I hope I covered everything Here's a link to the thread: Link
El Presidente Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 Confirming that they are different blends. Clearing customs currently here and sould be with us in few days.
bassman Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Confirming that they are different blends. Clearing customs currently here and sould be with us in few days. Thanks Rob. Looks like I'll be buying both, then. Really looking forward to these. In fact, I passed on the COH customs to be sure I could be sure to be able to afford your customs & the impending RA LCDH release. I've found that often the initial release of a new cigar has better quality. For example, the ENE 05 Party P2s are much better than any later code I've had.
