I have this box of Lunch Clubs and I just noticed that "lunch" is misspelled on both ends of the box as below: .

"25
Lunhc
Club”

Warranty Seal looks fine and so is the box seal.

Suspect? Normal? :o

This seems to be an often enough occurence, for some reason with ERDM.

Prez posted here, a year or two ago, pictures of a box of ERDM "De Mi Tassy". I have a box of ERDM "Choix Suprema".

It does happen with boxes of authentic cigars. I think in the two cases above it could be something to do with spanish speakers phonetically spelling french words.

Anyway, my point is, mis-spelling does not automatically mean fake.

Ryan,

That's good to hear. Maybe it will become a collector's box. Ha!

I'll upload a few pics anyway. Thanks

I wouldn't be too concerned about the spelling. Like you said, it's a nice collectors item at worst. Hopefully at best some good cigars. As long as you trust your source, sleep well.

Not the most beauftiful ERDM Lunch Clubs...I'm sorry Lunhc Clubs...Ive seen, but there does not seem to be anything to overly concern yourself with. Most important though...how do they smoke and taste?

Some vendor offered those for dirt cheap, but without guaranteed delivery, passed...

Real boxes with misspelled labels - no problem, IMHO. Had some Punch Churchills boxes from 1997 with Punch Punch all over it - no big deal - the cigars are great.

Daboose, wow! I'm sure you got it from a reputable vendor. Maybe you send the the vendor a pic of the box, and see their explanation of it.

That aside, how does it smoke? Been interested in trying these. Would you be doing a review of them? Maybe you send the the vendor a pic of the box, and see their explanation of it.

BTW, nice ashtray.

They should be a bit more lightly reddish & bumpy with tooth. Those look too smooth - uh rough - but like the smoother and less sophisticated appearing connecticut type of paper-like consistency. If you have one of those handy-dandy measures with the various size holes in them to compare your El Reys and any other questionable cigars you get to see if they meet the specific size for that vitola, I find you'll seldom to never go wrong in that test.
