Some cut only the cap. Others, like my friend Rob (aka han-solo AYALA) uses his dirty fingernails to pick the cap like a crusty scab!!!

I serrate the cap with my dirty fingernails you buffoon

I am a tactile type of guy....who can't afford one of those fancy cutters ;)

Palio, hmm, i think we have to define premium here, for me plastic can never be premium (I hate plastic), but I dont say that its a sharp cutter, but its not for me. When it comes to there "life time guarantee", Davidoff has the exact same one, just take it to a store and they will sharpen it for free (lifetime), so does Xikar and many many more. According to me Palio has just succeeded to market there plastic cutter as the cutter through adds and sponsored radio/podcasts.

Personal I have used a Davidoff for years and never had a problem with it, sharp and perfect cut after cut.

I just realized, Davidoffs "entry" cutter (which is made out of some sort of plastic/strange material/it looks like plastic but it doesn't feel like it) cost $49.95 and has life time guarantee, Palios plastic cutter cost $59.96, I know what i would have bought of of those two.

but on the other hand, nothing says premium as a camoflage plastic cutter

just my thoughts (which might be snobby, i just dont like camouflage or plastic..)

I use the cuttters occasionally included with the cigar boxes shipped to me. If I come across a cutter on a flea market I may also buy one. Nothing expensive or fancy.

You have serrated fingernails!!!! We might have to call in Dr. Smithy to verify this. Do you file them into little saw teeth or is it from digging for nightcrawlers? This must be mighty inconvenint when you need to use... you know... toilet paper! Ouch!!!

I know what it means to be broke mate! I did not know that cutting the "skinnies" has cut that much into your cash flow but maybe I can manage you a nice cutter for Christmas. :cigar:

Oh... someone's pulled one over on you mate... You are a tacky guy! People are saying tacky mate; not tactile!!! Who has got a pick of that pink and green hat that you used to wear? -LOL

Cuban Crafters Perfect Cutter. Takes the guess work out on how much to cut off. The new one works up to 56 ring, the only cutter I use. Warranty is for life!

This posting intrigued me, so I obtained one of these cutters for myself. It's now being used exclusively; the best instrument I've ever had. Highly recommended! Thanks, MadMax!! :)
