jdeese88 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Here's my review of the Taboo Twist Super Giganto. With the growing trend to larger and larger RG cigars, Taboo has set the new standard! Stats: RG....ohhhhh about 500 +/- Length.... just a hair under 1 meter Burn time... 19 hours Lighter...Bernz-O-matic propane lighter Cutter...Lowes garden shears After clipping the cap I slightly toasted the foot... for about an hour. First draw was the taste of tobacco and Madagascar Vanilla. The ash was white and flaky but very solid. If I had to guess I would have to say this stogie weighed near a metric ton. Getting a slight nic buzz now. The burn was a bit ragged but not too bad. I had to run to work for a few hours but when I came back the ash still held strong. I had to chase off the local VFD who were about to hose it down... fire hazard my butt! NUBBED IT! Wow this was one for the record books. I have to say that Taboo has outdone themselves on this little gem. I would give it an 8.5/10. Super Giganto facts: Besides the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China, it's the only man made object that can be seen from space. 4 acres of rain forest must be cleared to produce a single Super Giganto. On the reverse side of the band there is an inscription that reads " Nubs are for Wimps". ENJOY! I seen this on the internet and it cracked me up. Maybe some of you did as well. Since ya'll were talking about large ring cigars recently, I figured ya'll would get a kick out of this.
PigFish Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I guess the use of odorized propane may have helped!!! ***** (five stars) for creativity. No credit for giving H SA et al a new concept!!! -LOL Lets talk about packaging!
KB24 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Awesome but you have a little too much time on your hands my friend!
MIKA27 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Awesome but you have a little too much time on your hands my friend! I agree!! This in itself deserves a prize!
samb Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Heard good things about these, Im sure the pigfish will chime in on this one.
jacksfull Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 The great thing about these is, you don't have to remove the band... it tastes just like the rest of the cigar. Come to think of it, I guess that's not as much a unique trait as it seemed at first.
jdeese88 Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 Awesome but you have a little too much time on your hands my friend! Nah, maybe the guy who actually took the time to take those pictures. I'm not creative enough to come up with something like that. Like I said, I seen this on the internet and thought it was funny. And since you all were talking about large ring cigars last week, I thought I'll share.
finecigar Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I think I will take a cabinet of 50... Seems reasonable. Just will need to build an extra house, all made of spanish cedar and humidified--- an investment for these new and upcoming large rg's
