asmith Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Next step is letting them rest although Ken. Elie and i will do a vid review on these next week. I remember being part of that team...but now nothing but editing of the videos.
Colt45 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I remember being part of that team...but now nothing but editing of the videos. psssst....... Smithy........ Rob's away, right? you're there, cigars are there, right? 2+2........
asmith Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 psssst....... Smithy........Rob's away, right? you're there, cigars are there, right? 2+2........ Good point he has left the entire stash here...OK quick cigar review this afternoon. Then find another job!
MIKA27 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I remember being part of that team...but now nothing but editing of the videos. That in itself is an important role mate seeing Rob and Ken 'have' forgotten to turn on the mic whilst in a drunken state. I remember a video review of late, HDM La Hoyo Des Deux comes to mind.
dicko Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Great looking cigars!! Excellent tribute as well with the dalia.
Chaki Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Great news Prez! Could you tell us more about the rollers (who they are, which fabric they work for etc.)? Or is this info too "sensitive"? Thanks
dcse Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I am drooling. Magnificent cigars. Great choice of vitolas. When do you open for pre-orders?
Stalebread Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Outstanding! Was there a starting point for the blend? Like, say for example, a Partagas 8-9-8 for the dalia, and then you adjusted for your own preference? Or did you start from scratch? Not that it makes any difference, I'm just curious about the process. Either way, put me on the list.
Guest rob Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 They are both awesome! Pretty much my two exact choices of shape and size. Thanks Prez.
winelover Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Hi Rob Really like what you are doing here and the fitting tribute given by naming one of them 'Tampa'. I hope you will get enough in supply to meet demand and also hope they will be affordable. Good luck Graham.
soltino Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 I hope you will get enough in supply to meet demand and also hope they will be affordable. Well said Graham, I think there will be quite a demand for these! Nicely done Rob, looking forward to picking up a few of these when you are happy with the blend.
laficion Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 They look FANTASTIC Rob, Great tribute to Chuck, Bravo
fugwumpy Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 They both look beautiful and a fitting tribute. I look forward to the opportunity to try these.
anacostiakat Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Yes they look great. Look forward to the opportunity to smoke some. Nice tribute.
n2advnture Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Man those look f'ing tasty! Can't wait to try the Rob! Well done on the tribute smoke
JoshMP Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Can't wait to taste these ones, never smoked a shaggy foot before! I know its been asked already, but do you just light it 'as is'? Or do you clip the end?
CIGARHead Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Can't wait to taste these ones, never smoked a shaggy foot before! I know its been asked already, but do you just light it 'as is'? Or do you clip the end? They look great Rob..can't wait to try both. To those asking: You light the shaggy foot - no clipping necessary!
thechenman Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Can't hardly wait. Great job Prez...love the shaggy foot dalia, the celestial fina looks great too. Lovely looking wrapper. Hope the blend works out as I hope to have some boxes of these in my humi by then. Love the tribute to Tampa as well. A dahlia for the "long & skinny" lover that we all knew as Tampa.
bassman Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 These do look great. If the flavor is up to par & they have decent strength, I'm in. Might even have some money when available And yes, light the shaggy foot!
