El Presidente Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 On the final night in Havana we had our traditional friends farewell dinner which this year we did at my place. I was touched by this gift from Hamlet, a caricature of myself made from tobacco. It is a fine gift which takes pride of place in the center of the Czar walk in humidor. Brings a smile to my face and warm memories of my Havana family. Gracias Hermano!
ChanceSchmerr Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 A wonderful gift. Hamlet is truly gifted to have created something so life-like!
Ginseng Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 That is just about the coolest damned thing I've ever seen! Hamlet is an artist in every sense of the word. That is a singular token of friendship and did I already say it's super cool? Wilkey
OZCUBAN Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Wow Absolutely brilliant what a treasure and totally unique ,the resemblance is really uncanny ,cannot even imagine how many hours were involved in its creation cheersOZ
Torontonian Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 That is great! A once-in-a-lifetime gift (and not a bad likeness).
MIKA27 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 That is a singular token of friendship and did I already say it's super cool? Wilkey That really sums it all Rob. What an honor to have something so personal created for yourself. Truly amazing.
Buch0 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Unbelievable.. The detail is to be truly admired on such a unique piece. Such an item that im sure will be treasured forever and provide many a discussion to visitors.
Jesuscookies Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 That is really neat! It even looks a little like you
Buch0 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I cannot help but wonder how it would smoke... If you stumble upon it at 4am one morning after a big one and put flame to it, be sure to post a review mate
bunburyist Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Awesome - great effort to get the likeness as well. Will also be useful as a voodoo doll for the other guys when you're away.
Tampa1257 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Just a couple of words, Beautiful! I have never seen Rob with a jacket on, that would be a singular experience itself. Make sure that Ken doesn't get near it with a match.
android Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Looks like he gave you those small hands like on the BK commercial! Ha Ha Trying to keep things in proportion with the rest of your body I suspect.
thechenman Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Truly incredible. That is phenomenal craftsmanship. Hamlet is truly an artist. Prez...I think this honor is a testament to how good a friend you are, and how much you are respected.
