SnakeHips Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I would be all kinds of excited to try that Flying Pig a few times. I don't think I'd buy a box, but I really want to see it happen.
El Presidente Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 That's a hell of a response !LOL! OK well I am not married to the idea of a "Flying Pig" I am happy with a Celestiales Finos size but with a 48-50 gauge centre. If we go custom...might as well go "Custom" Here's a challenge. Someone photoshop one for me
MIKA27 Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Cadilac - If they're Flying Pigs, I'm deffinitely in! They look great!
jquest63 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Sounds Great! Count me in if smokes are priced right!
Colt45 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 OK well I am not married to the idea of a "Flying Pig" I've no idea if this is what you have in mind:
Havanaaddict Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Flying Pigs yes yes yes Rob should I make sure Lisa still has my addy or you can just bring them out to SoCal
Fuzz Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 If we go custom...might as well go "Custom" You want "Custom"? Fine, how about a canonazo with a pig tail, and screw the shaggy foot, go for the shaggy head! Also, don't forget to get intertwining wrappers of light colorado and maduro! Now that's unique!! Heck, why not go for an FOH Culebra while you're at it! You can have intertwining strengths of light, medium and full, denoted by the darkening wrapper. Seriously though, make 'em a dalia and a petit corona and I'll be in like Flynn!!
bunburyist Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I'm all over this like a donkey on a waffle. In!
OZCUBAN Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hi Rob Is this what you had in mind ,just something really quick ,to get a rough idea original will probably have to be slightly modified for cigar band, thought maybe "life is not a dress rehearsal " for a second band(maybe ) Cheers Mate OZ Steve
qman22 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 How exciting! I love the idea of a custom Dalia... not sure about the flying pig though
rcsims Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Sounds great. My first choice would be the Dalia, but I would be happy with either. I'm in!
Habanos2000 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I'm all over this like a donkey on a waffle. I'm still trying to figure out this saying
CIGARHead Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Damn Doc,, those are some of the most beautiful cigars Ive seen. I love the mottled wrapper color/oils. How do they smoke? Or the real Flying Pig
bunburyist Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I'm still trying to figure out this saying Obviously were a donkey to get on a waffle, it would completey cover the waffle, in fact it would be all over it. Assuming we're talking regular sized waffle here. ... I heard it on the internet... Happy with either flying pig or dalia btw, with lonsdale and piramide being good too
cadillacdoc Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 How do they smoke? INCREDIBLE, Blend is spot on!
MIKA27 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I'm still trying to figure out this saying It's like saying "I'm on it like White on rice" or "As happy as a fat kid in a cake shop" But in this case, the donkey completely covers the waffle.
CIGARHead Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 INCREDIBLE, Blend is spot on! Good deal!..a cigar that pretty is almost guaranteed to taste great. Those mottled wrappers just do it for me!
Jimmy2 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I would start with 2 great sizes and less plugged Robusto and Corona Gorda and maybe a PC down the road . Overall it does not matter what size a cigar is what does matter is getting the blend right to make it a enjoyable experience every time you lite up one.
mrcoin Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi Rob Is this what you had in mind ,just something really quick ,to get a rough idea original will probably have to be slightly modified for cigar band, thought maybe "life is not a dress rehearsal " for a second band(maybe ) Cheers Mate OZ Steve Any band or no band is fine, as long as it doesn't have a "diplomatic" band.
cgarner Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Great idea. Sign me up. Not sure if I'm sold on the flying pig. Never had one but I would try it.
Ethernut Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 anything 44 ring or smaller... long n skinny.. Love to have some!
PADDYWHACK121272 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Great idea - would be very interested - love the dalia size and for a second preference would love to see a laguito no. 1 or laguito Especial / Fundadore - is this asking trouble draw wise?....
cvm4 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 The dalia sounds more appealing than the flying pig.
