Got home 6am.

New "Wide Churchill" showcased. I assume HSA has someone from Harley Davidson on the marketing team. Waiting for the "Fat Boy" to be released next year.

Cigar was too big a girth for my personal taste and too wet to fully appreciate. Fairly nondescript first two thirds, good finish but really, the moisture content was way too high to make any assessment whatsoever.

Very Interesting evening. Not really. Quite sure I will remember the detail shortly. Great to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. The number of people in this industry who watch the FOH Video reviews is quite amazing. They all ask Ken to wear pants.

Q&A session arranged for later in the week.

Caught up with Elvis at GT yesterday. That watch will be the death of me.

Can't type what happened 4-6am. Hilarious, debaucherous but I flew the flag of responsibility. Up at 9am. Off now to a meeting somewhere.

Never stop working.

Haha I think the problem is the Pants that Ken wears, let's all be thankful he wears something....

Maybe if we just restricted him to 2-3 colour blends.

Keep the good times rolling, Rob! Plenty of time for sleep back in Oz haha! Sounds like a great time in Havana :loser:

Enjoy, Rob

What else is there to say, before your back @the grind stone ,you seem shocked that so many watch the videos, they are simply the best on the web bar none ,funny informative ,and more importantly Honest.

Hope you have a great time and maybe good news on the proposed deletions, and are they introducing a cigar this year for the masses?

Take care

cheers Oz :loser:

Seriously, what are they thinking?? How does the leading producer of high quality cigars pass out over humidified product at their event of the year???

Oh, and as far as the 'never stop working' comment, nobody over here buys that!!

You guys are going about it all wrong. You need to use reverse psychology to trick them.

Dear HSA: Please release a line of cigars that are 80 ring gauge and 2" in length. Thanks!

There, now we'll get nothing but lanceros...

Nothing about the Cohiba Behike.

I'll tell you what happened at 6am. I opened up my eye on my bedside table.

Still got to see the plantation tour at 7am though. Though not in stereo. :)

Strange that they keep giving bad cigar samples for all their important clients to test. One would think they'd ensure the cigars were dryboxed to be up to smokable standards, else the initial reviews will just be bad. Wasn't it the same last year with the MC Opens (combined with an open air super-windy location)? That seems to have killed the Open right of the bat. :)

Well, consider that the ambient humidity on the island is probably at the very least in the mid-80%s...

Could be difficult to hand out drier sticks, the island is a natural humidor. Just checked the weather, humidity is 88% today.
