I seem to recall that particular game finished with a penalty being awarded to the maroons who proceeded to kick an up and under to enable them to smash the poor recipient. Hodges was leading the charge from memory.
Hardly a gracious act.

yes, that was in response to the cowardly cheap shot on price. what did they expect?

actually, it was a really dumb thing for nsw to do in many respects. it most certainly has not been forgotten up here - big mal was reminding the players of it very recently. it is always harder to get up to win a series if you've won the last four - nsw must have the greater hunger - and so, instead of having that advantage, nsw do something which will fire qld up for this series. if i was the nsw coach, i'd have been livid. these things are so line ball that giving either side an extra incentive makes no sense.

can't wait for the series - should be a cracker. very keen to see if big dave taylor can step up. and will lote get back in?
