Bartolomeo Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 -Maduro colored wrapper reminds me of a horned frogs back, ugly...light in hand, matte oil sheen on surface, pigtail cut off -Pre draw was cedar -Cedar and grass are my first thoughts when I taste this Ingenios on the initial puff -Saltiness/citrus/Cinnamon in 1/3 -Medium amounts of smoke pour out while at rest, Light profile early on -Aftertaste is very unique, cant quite figure out what it is yet….stay tuned -Leather/pepper and Rhubarb are in the 2/3…very unique flavors -I think I figured what the aftertaste….Gingerbread cookies...I might be crazy but that’s what it reminds of -Cigar is interesting but nothing I see myself buying -I liked the Fundadores but have not cared for the Reyes or Robusto T -Last 1/3 is some cream/cinnamon/wood/cocoa, but sort of muted flavors but cigar itself was definitely Full bodied at this point -I am glad I tried this single but I am not a Trini fan -8.3/10 Bart
Ginseng Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I do believe white pepper and beef are the only flavors this cigar didn't exhibit. Amazing palate for one so new to the hobby. You must be a supertaster then. Wilkey
bassman Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 These just don't do it for me. All wood & leather. Love the Robusto T, though.
