compitaveggie Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Did you mean you found the pictures or you found Andy Ryan's post at the HCF forum this morning? They were from the 2009 trip, not 2010. Actually Nino gave us both approval at the same time to post with his permission the use of his website. Ryan just posted before because I didn't read Nino's reply that was sent at 130am until I woke up this morning and. I live in the Pacific time zone. I had yet to see what was posted on HCF untill after I posted, You can ask Ryan if you wish. Jose
Nino Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi, Jose is absolutely correct. The approval was mailed to both him & Ryan late last night - Andy being in my time zone posted it first. I 'd like to thank Jose for posting it as well. Nino PS : I also absolutely agree on the "Nothing is clear in Cuba" statement.

compitaveggie Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Van asked James this question on CA. Did you tour the El Laguito factory during your time at the Festival? If so, did you happen to see a box of cigers in locked disply case bearing green bands with palm tree on them? James responded today with this: Those green banded Cohibas with a gold embossed plam tree were gifts for members of the Non-Aligned Movement meeting in Havana a few years back. Ministers from each country attending the meeting were given boxes of Cohiba in varying sizes according to their importance with the label. Jose

Jose My follow-up question hasn't gotten out of the moderation queue. Remember that on the video, Adam said that the 50 count boxes of Cohiba Genios Maduro 5 were given to participants at the NAM Summit. That summit took place in September of 2006. My research reveals that the Maduro 5 line was not distributed to vendors until 2007. I asked if Mr. Suckling can shed any light on this. http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=26...e=2〈=en
