Bartolomeo Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 -Pre draw was nothing special, maybe some light tobacco if anything -Blonde looking wrapper with an oil matte texture, -Vanilla wafer opening along with floral bouquet -Some chewy sweetness along with woody sensation that coats my tongue immediately, very velvety -LGC Gloriosos are in my top 5 RE -Ash is a tight, Grey log that is well defined -A very refined crème taste is there from the start, very pleasant -Its amazing how something Light in profile can be so flavorful -2/3 is more crème/wood flavors along with some choice tobacco -Slow burning, sensuous smoke oozes out of this Blonde cigar -Long aftertaste, like Graham Crackers but maybe with not as much sugar -Taking my time, about 90-120 secs between puffs -Light tasting toast, orange peel, dark leather, coffee -Not a golf course smoke to me as I want something fairly strong and don’t want to think too much while hacking away -Last 1/3 seems the most powerful of the 3, early Medium in profile but not penalizing -Was a little tentative before I started reading about the Light profile but this cigar was really enjoyable -I have an 09 and a 01 box coming, the 09 will sit for 5+ years before I open it -9.1/10 Bart
Cubanface Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Thanks again for sharing. I had an '07 the other night. Had very similar flavors. Although wasn't as flavorful as the '02.
