Mouton82 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Hi Everyone I'm looking for a box of either the Cohiba 'BOOK Sublimes Extra ' or 'Siglo VI Gran Reserva ' for aging...both in same price , but Book have 20 , G.R 15 only... Can anyone get me some reference or recommend ? Thank's your help !!
BobLobLaw Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I have personally smoked neither. Few weeks ago I was with a guy who smoked a Sublimes Extra and said it was just ok. Nothing spectacular and not worth the $80. From the reviews I have read the CGR have all smoked amazingly and are well received. In your position, I would go the CGR. The reviews have been positive enough that I bought a few singles. I never even thought about the Sublimes Extra. Just my 2 cents and worth probably less.
brian1 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I have had both. The Sublime Extra was pretty ordinary Cohiba. The CGR was better, I was not blown away by the CGR's ala all the hype these have gotten. But they have the raw material to be something very special in the future and they smoke better now than the Sublime Extra to my palette.
