Ramón Allones Especial de Allones RE TEB SEP 08

-Perfect construction, clipped the cap at an angle like I do with all cigars this shape, firm to the touch

-Initial puff is cedar, loads of smoke and coffee and fresh tobacco flavors

-Semi tight draw at first, a little more spice at this point compared to the 05 Beli, solid Medium to start

-Nice coffee/spice flavors on back of throat and edgy

-Ash is dark Grey, close to Black, flaky and layered, doesn’t stay on long

-More Nicotine is noticed than the Beli UK, probably due to youth and blend I am guessing

-2/3 brings out some Liquorice, raw sugar and butter toast……..coffee is still present

-Bad Analogy Time This is like a Freshman QB(Especial de Allones) with loads of talent and skills but not quite the Senior QB(Beli UK) who is more polished, refined and smooth

-Tannins, young tobacco and Black pepper in late 2/3

-So you can see that this cigar wants to be complex so bad but the time is just not right for it too

-Last 1/3 has lots of spicy wood flavors, Nicotine still present

-I nub it and enjoyed it but wouldn’t touch these for some time as they are a little wet behind the ears right now

-Definitely box worthy if you can find them
