cgarner Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I can't keep up with Bart, but here are some of my recent orders. R&J #4 1/2 Box of Bolivar RC 2 -10s Cuaba Bolivar Gold Medals Monti 2's Partagas Series D No 4
jquest63 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Very Nice! Are the Boli Golds smoking as strong as they say?
cgarner Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 not sure what "as strong as they say" is, but I enjoyed them immensely. Need to order a couple more boxes.
Ginseng Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Excellent smokes! Quite a few of my all time faves in there. Wilkey
Bartolomeo Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 What are you talking about, thats an awesome collection! I love pics and keep them coming Bart
dochowl Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Ah... there's nothing lonelier than the last stick all by itself in the box.
finecigar Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Nice collection. I never can get into current RyJ's except the churchill. I like everything else though... Good job
PADDYWHACK121272 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Nothing meager about those mate - and anyway you can only smoke one at a time.....
Erm310mce Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Nice looking collection, some of my favorites! Thanks for the pictures.
Harelind Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Nice pics and cigars! Too bad those big a** stickers ruin the beautiful boxes! BTW I could have lived with the stickers if I didn´t have to pay the swedish tobacco taxes!!
mkz Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 BTW I could have lived with the stickers if I didn´t have to pay the swedish tobacco taxes!! What taxes??
LeafLover Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 By the amount of habanos you have left in some of those boxes, looks like its time for you to do some re-stocking. It's great to see that you smoke them fairly regularly. BTW, I should talk. Re-stocking is in my near future. If not for this dam economy
dizedean Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Looks great. When are you going to go after the PSD 4's ?
cgarner Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 Received the PSD #4 on 1-25-10. So they need some more resting before i light one up. As far as restocking - I have a couple boxes on the way with 2 boxes in limbo somewhere.
bkmynn Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 From my experience (here in Canada) boxes in limbo never arrive (border officials must have sticky fingers). Thankfully if you deal with a reputable dealer they will send you a replacement. Here are my stats: 3 - on-line orders 2 - lost in transit, but replaced by vendor - subsequent shipments arrived All in all I did receive 100% of my orders in due time.

I wonder if the offices of these border officials have walk-in humidors in them. Probably has some leather lounge chairs in them to boot. I wonder what they do with the confiscated habanos. Sure, the consensus is that they would take them home and smoke them. But what if they don't? Do they just leave them there to wither and die?
cgarner Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 I've often wondered what happens to confiscated Cuban Cigars as well. It is a damn shame if they destroy them.
cgarner Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 a few pictures of my latest delivery. Enjoy.
