I wanted to post a note on this cigar as it has been about 2 years since it left its birthplace and these are finally starting to come around.

I have smoke about 5 from this box and none were worth mentioning (boring!)

so i pushed the box to the back of the humi to come across again some day.

Today was that day, and I'm glad I pulled one out.

Where earlier I had very little going on as far as flavor, these are starting to wake up and i enjoy a medium bodied smoke

with a variety of tastes coming thru to keep my interest (cinnamon & dried fruit)along with a subtle spice.

I kept thinking this was going to be a very refined smoke in a year but enjoyable now if you don't smoke it too hot & fast.

and that was just the first half - i'll be back to let you know how it finishes up.

Is it just me or did you make a meal out of cutting the cap off?!? Looks to me like you used a hand saw

Glad to hear these have come with age, I am yet to try one with more than a year on it. Cinnamon and dried fruit sounds enticing, might have to check them out..

Well to finish off the review, it did not end as well as it started. After midpoint the distinct refined flavors I was welcomed by disappeared and the cigar became very monotonous, tho still smokable.

So this box will go to the back of the humi again for another try in 6months.

Or not.

And Buch0, I think the phone photo may be deceiving, it cut clean and i smoke slow,

so that half inch of ash was about 20 mins of me chewing on the end!

Now i should send you a photo of when I DO chew the cap off!
