Bartolomeo Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 -Oil spots readily along the wrapper, excellent condition -One of the most rare RE cigars I have come across -First 1” is pretty much tobacco, not a lot of anything to be quite honest -Mild molasses in 2/3, but again not much more than that, do they not think South Americans have no taste buds? -Maybe too young of a cigar to get anything out of? -Some toasted nuts and light caramel shine through in last 1/3 but also the youth makes an appearance -Need to let these rest and revisit in a year 8/10 Bart
ilgatto Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Very cool, Bart. I would love to try one of these down the line. I never thought S. America had RE's. I am going to Colombia at the end of the month but even if these were available the prices on Habanos are outrageous. The place I go that I know has real Habanos had the SLR Serie A's for $17.
