Over the years there have been many threads regarding cigar abbreviations. These have in general been initiated by beginners wanting to decipher cigar na#e abbreviations use in the forums I have decided to put together a list, to be eventually pinned in the Newbie Introductions Sub-forum. his sub-forum already contains an excellent “A bit of a guide to Newbie members. Due to the difficulty of edit/formatting on the forum, I have used the CCW website to create the layout that will eventually copied to the Newbie Introductions Sub-forum. The opinion of some is that abbreviations should not be used in forums as it could be inferred as “elitist.
