In 2011, I, Canadianbeaver, joined FOH. The Canadian groups in Toronto and Montreal were beautifully organized by members, many who are still active today. 🥰⭐️🇨🇦. The semi annual events introduced us to a cigar friend who we met in person maybe a couple of times back then. Later, we kept in touch on Facebook and on messenger so much we still traded cigars together 14 years later. Claus Stetter aka Lotusguy is not on FOH these days but many know him so I thought this would make you smile. The guy on the left in the first pic is Matthew, my husband. This is the road to his house, the view in his backyard and a wild peacock that walks around everyone’s backyards near San Jose California. The steaks were cooked perfectly for dinner! FOH has been around a long time and we travel all over to meet fellow members. We are grateful for this incredible cigar interest and 14 years is a good start. CB

Hey guys, my names Josh for those of you who haven't seen me post on here a lot. I live in San Diego and due to my daughters medical conditions (She's doing excellent, no worries!) the Navy will not move my family out of the San Diego area. It's a blessing honestly, but what I definitely realize is that I need more friends to smoke cigars with. Anyone in the San Diego area want to setup a HERF for March of 2019? I get back from deployment early 2019 and would love to host a shindig! I've got a rather large third floor patio with a bar and a pool table at my house and I'm more than okay with having some of you over my place. Can comfortably entertain 30 people. (josh.hooper7 on instagram if you guys want to see some pictures) Let me know what you all think, also content with meeting up elsewhere! Cheers guys, looking forward to whichever way the wind blows.

Just a quick hello. A few of my cigar smoking friends told me about the site and I thought I'd check it out. Currently trying out Ramon Allones, Allones Superiores.

Hello All, I am pleased to have found this site, as it appears there is a wealth of information for newbies. I have enjoyed NC for many years. Not until visiting LCDH in Playa Del Carmen last Dec 2015, did I encounter/experience CCs. It has opened a new chapter in my smoking habit. Now, I am probably like the savy CC veterans were 5,10,15, 20 years ago; trying to learn as much as possible, figure out a reputable source, and identify my taste in this category. This will be my only post for a long while. I don't want to be the guy that asks a question that was already answered a 1000x. I will pour through the forum and gather my knowledge base. Keep sharing. Mike W San Diego, CA.

Hi all, Earlier this year I had the pleasure of traveling to Cuba with classmates, and fellow artists to collaborate on some groundbreaking work. The timing could not have been better, as our trip coincided with Obama's visit, and the Rolling Stones concert. Our first show opened at the Ludwig Foundation, in La Habana. This weekend, we will host our gallery exhibition opening in LA at Plaza de la Raza. The gallery opens at 7, hope to see you there! "EL ACERCAMIENTO/THE APPROACH is a groundbreaking multimedia transnational project that investigates the past, present and possible futures of Cuba-U.S. relations.
