Any update on the dates for the Encuentro ? Anyone going to the 500th anniversary instead ? Would you think there might be any "security risk" going to the 500th since there will be a LOT of people there and in the streets ? I've never been to any festival and want to go with my best friend as a guy's trip. As the Encuentro is more relaxed from what I've read than the Habanos festival, sounds more fun, but when I look at last year's program, besides gala dinners, there's not much there...I've been to Cuba a few times before, so doing touristy things isn't what I'm looking for. Wanna experience Havana life, nightlife, visit the casas and a factory if I can. So if the 500th will be a better time for a quick vacation and to "party" than the Encuentro, might be something to consider. Any advice ? Thanks !

Happy new year to everyone ! I haven't posted here in the longest time, but would you be so kind to help my cousin's son ? He bought this La Corona jar not too long ago and the only info he has is that it would date back to 1955. It seems there are 45 cigars left out the original 50 (don't jars only have 25 cigars ?). I already checked out cubancigarwebsite, but nothing about a jar. Also, if anyone would know the current value of such an object ? Thank you !
