H. Upmann #2 May 10 after lunch. These are great. Half way through the box and these have been very consistant. Loaded with coffee and cocoa, leather with a hint of pepper and a touch of spice. Nice and dark with excellent constuction and burn. A touch more spice, and they would be perfect.
I'm in total agreement. I too hope he has a happy ending, but the odds are totally against it. It is all up to him whether he succeeds, or screws up again. I'm rooting for him.
Do you remember Michael Jacques? I saw him lift a few times and was really impressed with his technique. Kevin Winter, Ken Clark, Martinez, so many lifters I can't remember their names... ahhh, the good old days.
I attended the 1984 Olympic Trials, you Olympic lifters are amazing. I go to the gym 5 days per week. 30 minutes on the bike, then 30 minutes lifting. I hate the last 30 minutes.
Great review, I've enjoyed every one I have ever smoked. Mirrors and trickery obviously involved with this production though. Aiz must be left handed, clock is reversed and his toilet flushes counter clockwise. Or is that only true in Austrailia?
I have 22 of these left from 2003 5 packs. The cardboard packs don't seem to do much for the aging of these as they have been a letdown for me. Would removing them from the packs and storing in a cedar box improve them with time, or is it too late? I would love to appreciate them as much as everyone else seems to.
