Hi folks. Long time lurker here, recently signed up as a member.
My introduction to cigars started back in 2004 when I was gifted a Romeo y Julieta Churchill from an Air Force buddy. The ritual, and ease of smoking sold me right away, but I couldn’t believe how good that cigar tasted. I chased it for a long time, and eventually found channels (USA after all) to smoke more Romeo y Julietas and add other Cubans to my collection. Nowadays I enjoy both Cubans and new world cigars from many different regions.
I was born and raised in Alaska, but been a Pacific Northwest transplant for the better part of 25 years. I spend many of these cold rainy Pacific Northwest evenings tucked away solo smoking in my little garage, or at one of the local lounges with a friend or two. I just finished a small cabinet humidor conversion, hoping to obtain some additional advice from the forums and looking forward to contributing to the general discourse.
Cheers.
