Bolivar- Salomones and Coronas Gordas Partagas - Lanceros QDO - Minutos Punch - Ninfas and Sublime

Girlfriend is at work, just me and the dogs enjoying the view. I love smoking with friends and family, but all time favorite is lighting up an amazing cigar with zero distractions and a great view.

I picked a few or these Turquinos singles from a 2024 box. Cut and Cold Draw: The draw seems excellent on this, barely any resistance. The cold draw is all floral and graham cracker. 1/3: Right off the bat, this cigar is rich and quite strong. Some honey sweetness up front. Floral and heavy spice on the retro. There is breadiness similar to an Upmann on the finish. 2/3: The strength has dialed back a touch. Upfront is still honey sweetness and buttered bread note. The retro is still very floral, but has gotten considerably sweeter. The finish is shorter now, but still pleasant with some earthiness and leather. 3/3: Leather, breadiness, a touch of sweetness. I am finally getting some classic LGC savory herbs on the retro, but leather is dominating. Final Thoughts: I would never guess this was a LGC, thankfully it wasn’t a blind review. I am glad the strength or this cigar toned down as it progressed, it really surprised me in the first third for a cigar of this RG. I would give this 88/100, these will definitely go higher with a few years of age.

I had 2020 JL2’s and 2019 JL1’s that were like that, maybe 5 out the box had a good profile. Sucks, but I guess it makes the bangers that much better.

BPC UBL ENE 22, still gots lots of mongrel.

Only had a few cigars, but a PSD4 UBL AUG 24 stands out to me. Never would have guessed it was that fresh.

Bolivar Petit Corona. It's still too cold to enjoy a long smoke (assuming you smoke outside) and BPC’s rarely disappoint!

How was it? I have a single that I cannot bring myself to smoke.

Looks like the Kickstarter was cancelled for this. Does anyone know why it was cancelled?

UBL AUG 23 PSD4 Smoking great young, love seeing these from the parent factory.

I got 2 10 boxes of these resting, some of prettiest wrappers I have ever seen a D4’s. Now I have to try one soon.

This is the way. Even the Galanes has pretty good value. Really can’t go wrong with a JL1 or JL2 either. Rafael Gonzalez has a pretty good budget line too.
