  2. Hi all, I've said it for years, "I AM A CORONA GORDAS GUY ". I just love the size, I love that caramel taste, I love the feeling of," NOT A LOT OF THIS AND A LOT OF THAT". All in all, a great cigar and size. When I think about it, PUNCH had, (at the time) four different corona gordas. What a shame !!!!!!!. Guy

  4. Hello there friends, I finally found it, go to my profile and click on "all activities," once your there, go to NO. 75 and almost at the end you'll see, "A time ago when a Habano was a Havana last part ". Look at the page where the small cigars are called " TWEENIES " and you'll see that the medio tiempo leaves are NOT new. Thank you for hearing me out. Guy
  5. Hello F.O.Hers The video above is well done and to say it all, i do like Kirby alot (BUT), when they talk about the MEDIO TEMPO tobacco, i have to cry out and reply. A few years ago ,i put out a post and talked about a booklet i had from 1938 that spoke about an old cigar store in london called "MARTINS CIGAR and SHIPPERS OF PICADILLY". The booklet was on famous men who smoked cigars and some cigar history with,at the end, the seven best cigars seen by CHARLES GRAVES and the last cigar was a small cigar made with MEDIO TEMPO leaves. This was back in the 30's. the booklet is called " CIGAR AND THE MAN " by CHARLES GRAVES I looked for the post which has all of the booklet and all of the photos but i can't find it, if someone can find it , he can post it here. Thank you for hearing me out. Guy

  13. Hello F.O.H. This article brings back soom old memories. This humidor goes back to the year 1999 and the 1st Habanos Festival where it was sold for, (at the time) $100.000 . It was sold by Habanos S.A. and the humidity was controlled by satellite. It was sold to the participants at the festival. I was there and so was Compay Secundo. I was invited by the distributors of Havana Cigars in France (Coprova), as the President of a Havana Cigar Club. Guy

  15. Grayliff cigars had a wonderfull history behind It. It all started when Avelino Lara Once Fidel Castro’s personal roller, Lara was famous for his creations at the El Laguito Factory outside of Havana, where he crafted some of of the most famous Cuban cigars, including the Cohiba brand. When he later went into retierment,he left Cuba to go to Nassau, Bermuda where he went to work for Enrico Garzaroli and his Graycliff cigars and gave the cigar their world reputation.
