  1. I think maybe it should be a rule, especially if the dog is a Lab!
  2. I will keep that in mind for my next dog walk picture, I will gladly share a picture of her!
  3. Beautiful write up, sorry for your loss, always such a difficult time.
  4. I currently have about 50% CC and 50% NC, but almost exclusively smoking NC's as replacing Cuban cigars has become problematic, so what I have left is for special occasions. Most of my cigar smoking is on dog walks and the AF Hemingway series has become my go to.
  5. My son brought back some Don Enrique cigars for me from his trip to Costa Rica in the fall. Looking forward to trying one in the next couple of weeks.
  6. Thanks very much, super excited to try some of these, especially the BR!
  7. All in all things are pretty good, my kids are finding their way and transitioning to adulthood in great shape, which as a parent what more could you ask for. 3-4 years away from retirement and that is setting up really well, that said the last few months have been pretty draining politically here in Canada, but not much I can do about that.
  8. Nothing fancy for me for a lighter, very dependable and goes in my hunting pack come fall. Will not be smoking anything this weekend, in the midst of a wicked late spring snowfall...enough with the winter already!
  9. Realistically for me, I will be very happy if i can get a bundle of Sovereigns Suns HC this year. I am looking for a daily dog walk stick and am really hoping this hits the spot.
  10. For me it is either alone with my dog in my background enjoying a quiet and a cold beer or with a couple of good buddies. During Covid when we were sent to work from home we starting meeting in a local park every Friday afternoon weather permitting. It was a nice way to stay connected in person during the period of social isolation.
  11. For a road trip to fish/camp it would be pretty simple for me...Robusto Trinity x 5.
  12. As a Blue Jays fan, I think this is going to be a very long year. On the field I think they should be marginally better this year, at least the bull pen, but the whole Vlad Jr saga will make for a long season. The Vladdy and Bichette era might be over before it really got going and who knows what the plan is with this team if they leave.
  13. My version of Guinness Irish stew, made with moose.
  14. We came out of a long brutal cold snap last weekend and the temperature warmed up enough for a good long dog walk and cigar. Had a MOFOH Trinity Robusto that i picked up in September 24 and it was fantastic. May very well turn out to be my best cigar experience of 2025.
  15. First outdoor patio cigar of 2025, a great way to spend some time on a glorious afternoon.
  16. Thanks for the review and comments. I don't plan on opening my bottle anytime soon, but I may try to pick up another one based on your comments.
  17. What did you think of this one? I have a bottle I haven't opened yet, kind of saving it. How does it compare to other Redbreast offerings?
  18. 1. Trout - freshly caught in the mountains, pan fried with butter, salt and pepper 2. Coho Salmon - cedar plank 3. Halibut 4. Ling cod - fish and chips 5. Walleye - pan fried in beer batter.
  19. Goldeneyes are my favorite duck for lots of reasons. One of the main reasons is that they are one of the first birds to return in the spring and will show up as soon as open water appears, signalling the end of winter and the start of spring. Bit of a bird geek, but I love watching the mating ritual of Goldeneyes with a cup of coffee on a beautiful spring morning. One of nature's truly beautiful sights.
  20. Thanks for reply, my son brought some back from the DR and I quite enjoyed them. I bought some more in Canada and didn't find them all that enjoyable but am thinking of trying again, still on the fence if I will or not.
  21. I am curious what your thoughts are of the La Aurora are when you are done with it?
  22. Epi 2 and Guinness as long as the island has a ice cave to keep the Guinness cold otherwise Red Breast 15 year old.
