  1. I have trie most of their line. They are a good quality cigar with a varied flavor profile between the various marcas. I would recommend trying them. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  2. Are there still any of those TAA's avalable anywhere? Where is a good place to order the ME2? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. It was a package deal. I brought a Cohiba robusto and an opus X robusto if the rocky didnt work out. All I can say is I was pleasantly surprised. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. A little Louis XIII and a Rocky Patel decade. Surprisingly they paired very well. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. Welcome from the racing capitol of the world. Glad you found us here. Lots of great advice and information on here. If you want to come see the largest humidor in the state of Indiana PM me.
  6. My experience has been the only drink I can drink with any cigar is water. I have also experimented with Wines, Brandies, Cognacs, Rums, and Whiskeys. I am intrigued with the Anejo Tequilla pairings and will soon try that. My experience has me liking rye whiskey, Speyside and Highland scotches and white or gold rums with lighter bodied cigars. Non Cubans would be Sticks like Rocky Patel 55, or Romeo y Juliet Bully. For the Cuban varieties with these same drinks The first to come to mind is El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme, and I was surprised by this one, Hoyo de Monterey Epicure #2. I could go through the bourbons and the rums and all the other liquors as I have tried with cigars here too or I can cut things short and say Cigar flavor strength and liquor flavor strength can pair well and enhance the flavor of both! However for me most of the enjoyment comes from the experimenting and trying different pairings. So smoke em if you got em and thanks to whomever started this.
  7. Interesting proposal I'm game Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. I think the set price is the better way to go. As for count let it fluctuate so that different level sticks can be sent. I mean while we as consumers always want the best deal we can get, the company cant go broke to keep us happy. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  10. From Wed evening last week but still good for a rye. Lip service rye and a good smoke. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. I have the 18 yr old of this and agreed very underrated. Pairs well with a medium bodied cigar like a Punch or a RyJ.
  12. A basic guide. I agree with most of it. So many people when trying cigars and cognacs will choose a full bodied cigar and a VS or VSOP cognac and miss out on so much the two could have done for each other. Dont go cheap either when it comes to cognacs. Buying a $40 XO versus a $150 XO when pairing it with a cigar. The $150 bottle will show taste and feel so much better. 14. My favorite is Gran Cava de Oro extra Anejo. Problem is I can hardly ever find it. Chicago liquor stores say they can order it and always send my $$ back. Supposedly it can be bought in San Diego but I havent found anyone to buy it and ship it to me. I have a friend that goes to Mexico city twice a year and he brings me a bottle every other time. My new second choice is Suavecito Anejo. A new up and comer in Indiana but surprisingly smooth for the price point. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  18. Instead of a coin. I have several of these from different organizations on poker chips. Much lower cost and last almost as long.
  19. Would your coin really be going to Rob or to the misses? I like the idea either way though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  21. I remember it clear as yesterday. It was late June 1980. Cutting my neighbors grass. The only thing he had to pay me was a cigar and a cold glass of lemonade. It was an Arturo Fuente and I believe it was the 8-5-8. Made me sick as a dog. The next week he coached me on smoking cigars and it was sweet tea. He passed away that August. When he's daughter moved in she gave me his whole collection of cigars maybe 70 or so and his humidor. That lead to my first Cuban. A less than inspiring smoke as I knew jack about storing them back then. I was 15 that summer and I can still hear him telling me "slow down you big dummy," every time I would start to smoke it too fast. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. If we have not found a reasonably priced supplier. I may have a couple options here for either a silkscreen for T-shirts or a breast or pocket embroidery for Polos. It would be stateside so delivery may take a moment but its an option.
  23. Knowing how rough I am on things I think the metal one best but the MDF looks really good. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
