I use a password manager. I use MFA everywhere and when available the MFA is a hardware key.

I am currently smoking an Opus X Forbidden that I paid 85$US while in Miami last week. It’s an excellent cigar, by far the best NC I’ve had over the years but still not as good as a CC so for me I can’t say it’s worth the money.

Very interesting discussion. From the comments in this thread, it looks like we are all facing the same problems from our respective governments. I can’t help to wonder what will happen to the taxation schemes and all once AI puts millions of people out of work across the globe.

I was in Varadero in last October. We spent 9 days at the Blau Varadero resort. We had a very pleasant stay. Planty of food everyday and the installations were clean and in working order. The mini bar was filled everyday with beer. Maybe it was because it was not the high season for tourists. There was no waiting line anywhere. I guess things have changed a lot since then.

I am a member of a few FB technical groups related to amateur radio so I do post in those groups from time to time, I don't pay much attention to the rest.

Father’s Day is today here. We had breakfast with friends and after we went to have a look at their future house. We got back to their current house for a few beers. Once I got home I went outside with a 2018 Lusitania and some jazz music. Very nice weather here today.

I understand that the stores/bars were operating outside of the law and it has been said that they were not legit so the seizure was warranted and I have no problem with that. However, the officers opening a “man cave” in a city owned storage facility, deactivating security cameras to drink seazed booze is not in any way more legal than the places the booze was seized from. The fact that it’s been done by law enforcement officers makes it even worse. In your cigar example, the same thing applies. If it’s not legal for you to obtain the cigars then it’s not legal for the custom officer to benefit in any way of said cigars. In the case of the law enforcement officers, if I was the judge they would do time and their career as law enforcement officers would be permanently over.
