i didn't read the entire post and ended up talking about my experience at the duty free in T.O.

When I went to Cuba last week, on the way there the Duty Free in Toronto had a small humidor with some cigars. I didn't get any but I noticed that it didn't even seem like they had any temp control or anything going on in there. It also didn't help that people were leaving the door open too...I would rather go somewhere that specializes in cigars/tobacco for some peace of mind that they wont be wrecked..

Any news on when exactly they'll be reopening? The email I received just said end of april

I read in the Globe and Mail that our Prime Minister (Harper) said that the reason that they(Canada) is opposed to Cuba being included is because of a technicality which states that the countries attending the summit of the Americas must be democracies and that hopefully Cuba will be able to fit the requirements when the next summit comes around (2015 in Panama).

Not married yet but have been in a committed relationship for 6years. Basic rules are...no smoking inside. Although I have stated there will be a smoking room in our 'to be' house. She's still warming up to the idea.. As far as kids..don't have any but as a personal rule, I don't smoke in close proximity.

Thanks for the responses guys. The last time we went to Cuba, we did do the day trip to and Havana. It was to be expected, amazing. This time around I'm not sure if we'll be venturing there. I know for sure we'll be heading into the town in Varadero. So I'll be hitting up that LCDH for sure! As well as the rum store that's close by or around the corner I think... The list so far is definitely going to be RA Extras and '66s for sure! I've never tried the Gold medals or the Culebras. I have to definitely check them out. This time around I hope I'm able to get in the humidor,last time they didn't let anyone in. This was at the LCDH in Melia Americas.

Hey FOH! I'm going to Varadero on an AI trip, the 22nd...12 DAYS!!! I need a list..A list I can draw upon(no pun intended) when purchasing my cigars over there. I don't want to be a blathering idiot and wasting their time when purchasing over there. I have somewhat of a good idea what I might want to pick up but I thought I'd come to you all to think outside the box. I'll be going with my better half(girlfriendsoontobefianceafterthistrip) so I got a 100 cigar and 400 cigarillo limit. Thankfully we`ve gone once before so we wont be bringing any souvenirs for families since we`ve already done that, which equals more spending money! Also, I've been having a hard time figuring what I should smoke while there for the week..

Good choice on the Epi 2s(one of my favs), I'd suggest also the HDM Coronations. You could also give the Cuaba line a try as well. Some of them are hit or miss with the draw and such but when they're good, they're good. . You should also go through the FOH video reviews, they go through a variety of CCs, not just the big names. Plus they're hilarious.

Hey Jason, could you PM me what the final cost (approx.) of the project was? Since we live in close proximity it would make more sense especially on where you got your materials, etc. I want to have a set up like this eventually hopefully in the future. Possibly some time during summer or so.
