Decisions, decisions, decisions:

-VR Maestros for

-RA Grandes

-Punch Gran Robbies

-Bolivar 108s

-Spanish Dippies

You can only choose 2. Which ones would it be? They're all around the same price except for the Short Dippies. Those ones are basically a shoe-in because of their price alone. But say they all cost the same thing everywhere.

Which two Spanish Regionals would you get?

PS Consider this: You like Bolivar slightly more than RA. You like RA slightly more than VR which is tied with Punch. Key word: SLIGHTLY. Many RAs are better than Bolivars... But you get the picture :)

Oddly the Grandes that I tried was a bit thin for RA but that could have been just one dud.

I liked the Robaina Maestros,

I loved the Bolivar 108,

have not tried the Diplomaticos.

(PM me where to find the 108 please, I thought they would be sold out by now)

Good luck, cheers,

Alex

I've enjoyed the Dip RE

I've had the RA but didn't love it.

I'm not a huge Boli fan but do enjoy Diplo a lot so my money would be there

Bolivar 108s

But you've missed off Por Larranaga Legendarios, and I like a fool found some last year, meant to go back and buy them before flying home, and forgot!

The Dippies!

I've tried all of them. The RA Grandes certainly, and a toss up between the Maestros and 108s.

The Punch Gran Robusto never did it for me, neither did the Sancho Panza Quijote.

The Diplomatico is a very nice little cigar, I had one two nights ago.

As had been said the Legendario is fantastic, better than the UK Magnifico and the same size, but very, very hard to find now.

I will go with the Dips (have box in the air right now) not sure on the others but would say the Boli's but I like Ra's to

Maestro

Then toss up between RA and dip

I can not vote as I have not tried the others(tho I have a few)

but I do smoke the Dips and can now recommend them highly after almost a year on the box.

(they were a little bland fresh but are now getting 'dippy')

I've tried the VR Maestros (liked) and the PL Legendarios (excellent). I'd also be keen on trying the Diplomatico as, well... they need all the love and additions to the marca as possible.

Keep us posted on your decision. Cheers.

Your last sentence confuses me...?

Many of his sentences confuse me.

He seems to be writing an entirely new language on many posts.

The effort taken to sound different is at times getting completely lost.

Just lit up a VR Maestro on the back of this thread. I think it's lovely but I could see why some people don't like them. I get tea with a little bit of salty toffee. Great draw and burn.

Cheers Ryan smile.png glad i made a slight impact on your daily decisions smile.png

the thing with VR is that i find it somewhat similar to the profiles of RA. they're almost interchangeable on my tongue with a few subtle (but noticeable) differences.

the gordito shape is already widely available here in Canada for RA. and honestly, i'd much prefer the RA Gordito than the VR Gordito. if i wanted VR Gordito, we have a Canadian answer to that: The VR XV Sublimes. and damn is that sublime vitola great!

i've basically solidified my responses now. despite the overwhelming push for the Maestros, i'll be having none, thank you smile.png

anything, but PL Legendarios

Wo-ho! Thems fighting words!

I mean - not to me. I've disliked every Por Larranga I've ever had. PC, Montecarlo, Italian, etc. But I know they're not my cup of tea. I'd never dissuade someone from them because they're just not in my wheelhouse.

That's why the Legendarios didn't make my list of potential buys.

But back on topic :

why such hate for the Legendarios? I mean, looking at your profile picture...
