The one I had reminded me of a creamier Genios. Great construction, good flavors and nicotine! I think these will mature pretty fast. I am looking forward to pick up a ten count box in Havana to put to sleep for a bit.

My take exactly Simon. They appear to be crackers. I won't have my next until Christmas but am looking forward to it.

Mine was horrible - underfilled in combination with a fireproof wrapper. The one my friend smoked from the same box at the same time had the exact same problems.

I found the cigar to be creamy, sweet and full of chocolate notes. Beautifully constructed and an incredible draw for a cigar rolled as tight as it was. If I were to have any complaints I'd say that it was still a bit young with flavors that were still trying to jump out, maybe a bit muddled. I have a few that will rest for a year or so, I'm sure they'll perform like champs after some aging.

These are a very creamy, classy cigar.

X2. Had my first one today and was impressed.

They look tempting.Do they have the same profile of the Churchill or the Double corona from same brand?

It got up to -1C so I smoked my Grand Epicure from the Xmas sampler. Very tasty after a harsh start. Bakers chocolate and cream. Good draw and burn. Lots of smoke. I am down for more when they are available.

Apologies for raking up an old thead. Been searching the forums for some views on the Grand Epicure...

How are they smoking now, some 18 months on from when they first landed? Would be good to get members views on them.

Cheers

A friend of mine from Germany smoked like two boxes in the last month and was always very pleased. But I have to say he is kind of a Hoyo-fanatic. But still he liked them very much.

I bought a total of 5 boxes, in other words, every box came to my sight! Have smoked 1 and change of these and trying to keep my hands off not to deplete the inventory further.

Maybe would be stating the obvious - I am a big fan. I would also second the view that Epicure De Luxe would be a good alternative, also being much cheaper..

Nice haul there, I wasn't initially impressed with the Grand Epi, but I had one quite recently after a lengthy rest in the humidor and really really enjoyed it. Had a really creamy chocolate note that lasted throughout, I'm quite glad I grabbed a couple of boxes.

Nice one, thanks for the input. Before splashing out I will crack the box of Epi de Luxe I have had sleeping for a while and see what I make of how they are gettting along...
