Niño why oh why do you torture us so?????????????? Keep 'em coming just the same !

For a very simple reason : Because you rape my name ( using your iPhone autowriting feature, right ?? ) ........ :nyah:

Remember : Niño is the Climate Disaster - Nino is the Cigar Catastrophe, OK ??

And to make you suffer a bit more, here's more pictures and text on yesterday's Cologne trip :

Will do - but they are the regular release 5-ta Avenida German ER's re-packaged into a jar ........ so, only the jar is new.

Or as the saying goes : Old wine in new jars

Love that jar too, now how do I get one .....

Maybe like : Follow the instructions of your car navigation system to Cologne city centre, park nearby, have a coffee, smoke a cigar, choose a jar, select a credit card ............

Might differ from case to case though, don't know where your garage is located

Thanks, Nino - you answered my question about the RA Belicosos from the other thread :)

No PL Lonsdales, though :(

Nevertheless, will stop by in September.

BTW, I think it's a joke to re-package the 5ta Avenida into jars just so they can get rid of the stock that's laying on the shelves like lead. I personally didn't like any of the 4 I've tried but some people on the German forum say they've come around so I'll try one more.

Interesting. So, is it possible Habanos SA or Fifth Avenue "recalled' the existing 5-ta Avenida stock to be stuffed into jars or did they roll more? According to CCW 3000 boxes of 20 were made. These have always interested me. Anyone try them? Are they worth getting? Jar or no jar?

I tried 4, they all put me to sleep they were that boring and bland. Waste of money, IMO. I will try just one more.

According to the official information some of the existing stock was "recalled" and re-packaged into 600 jars that were produced in Germany ( the jars - .... of course :-) ) by Arzberg Porzellan in Franconia.

The jars contain 25 sticks which means that 15.000 sticks were still "on hold".

The opinions on the cigars themselves here are mixed from "Hero to Zero".

Personally I've smoked a few and was disappointed and then fascinated - we'll see, it's a nice jar, even though a bit hard to smoke the porcelain :-).

I planned to go to Koln today but pushed it off. I always visit Peter Heinrichs when I'm there. I've already ordered the Juan Lopez Distinguidos ER 2011 Porcelain Jar. Awaiting words from them on the Bolivar 5ta Avenida. Cheers for the pics!!!

Received good words from Peter & Andreas....Jars on the way!
