I can't stand the hideous health warning labels that adorn habanos cigar boxes! :)

To make matters worse they use some kind of super glue to attach them  anyone have a method for removing them?

From what I understand a hair dryer will soften the glue and make them easy to remove.

I use a hair dryer on SLBs or other wood boxes, it works pretty well. Id does leave a sticky residue, but it can be taken off with water and a sponge. It will mess up a dress box if you are not careful, so I stopped trying on DBs. Always take the cigars out of the box before trying the hair dryer :)

I agree with you but I've come to acept those ugly things knowing I have a great product from a reliable source.

As a hobby,

partly to rid myself of empty boxes and partly because I enjoy it, I have started making clocks from the empty boxes. Unfortunately I lossed an H.Upmann box when I ripped the paper while removing a sticker.

I've tried the hair dryer too but kept nearly burning myself to get enough heat to soften the glue. Must be a technique to it ?

I'll try a few things and post back what works best

Use a hair dryer and start at any corner. Once you can lift the corner, apply the hairdryer at the base of the lifting edge and work your way along. I have some goo remover for any residue left over. All up 3-4 minutes

I on Wednesday just used the hair dryer method, and Pres. is correct. I started in one corner and worked my way to the other end of that sticker. Have to apply greater heat where the sticker meets the Cuban label (double adhesive), other than that I had no issues pulling it up.

just make some stickers the same size as the stickers on the box you can buy them and print what you want on them and just cover the foulness much easier my misses does something simmiler at work.
