El Presidente Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I smoked the new Veueros Entretiempos (petit robusto). this evening pre dinner meeting. It drew a little a little loose but not bad at all. No hard edges, no real complexity but a mild/medium cigar that can be enjoyed without much thought. I doubt they will enter my rotation but depending on price (PCC yet to release price) I was almost impressed. Price will be the key. Straight 87/88 point cigar. Super fresh, no time down but I would smoke one again no problem.
Maplepie Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 99/100 is too low so you have to use the fraction: 87/88!?! But seriously, that's ridiculously high. I gave the one I smoked a 55/100. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
El Presidente Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 Only smoked the one J. One swallow doesn't make a summer. Still I look forward to trying another from another box/tin. As it always works, I need to try several from a few different shipments to get a gist of where they stand.
Maplepie Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Only smoked the one J. One swallow doesn't make a summer. It does in Canada! But I do understand what you mean. Do you have any box stamps for them yet? Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.

Didn't even look..and to my shame. had dinner with a PCC mate and we were shooting the breeze. Didn't cross my mind.
mikek Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 That's one I've never smoked! I have read really mixed reviews! Some people get good ones and some not. At least thats what I have got from what I've read. Nice to hear your trying these obscure brands. Thanx mikek
PapaDisco Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I think I'll just let that "One swallow" double entendre sail on past . . . 3

stunod Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Just noticed pricing from around the globe. Very reasonable. Almost cheap
Smallclub Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 The Entretiempos was favorably reviewed in the recent issue of l'Amateur de Cigare. I can translate it and post a summary if people are interested… 1

Lotusguy Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I tried all three now. The Tapados was good, I hated the other two. Have couple more of each before I make my final judgement.
